Complementary Study Program in Islamic Religious Education

The complementary study program Islamic Religious Education is an addition to the elementary university teacher education or other study programs. It prepares Muslim educational staff to teach Islam in public schools. The contents of the program is the analysis of religious written sources, present traditions, traditions in terms of the history of ideas as well as with religious education and teaching methodology of Islam.
